Northern Ireland civil servants have planned a £750,000 advertising tender to support a public information campaign in case of a no-deal Brexit.
The campaign aims to “raise awareness and where possible, provide reassurance ” of what the UK leaving the European Union without a deal means for Northern Ireland.
The tender process for the advertising campaign has been launched with a reduced time limit “due to its urgency”.
It is not clear if the tender will be open to applicants outside of the preferred suppliers list, which we understand is only seven advertising companies.
This might explain the reasoning they have said the tender launch and implementation is subject to a reduced time limit.
The Executive Office (TEO) has advertised for a contractor to deliver the project to support Northern Ireland Civil Service communications in the event of a no-deal Brexit.
